MKT Cotton LLC – The cotton brand name of Azerbaijan

“MKT IK ” LLC has more than 25 years of experience in Azerbaijan’s non-oil economy.
We are growing, stockpiling of cotton in 15 out of 20 cotton cultivating regions of the country with further processing at the 18 ginneries.

Cotton fiber processed at the ginneries of the company is medium fibrous , has a specific color which differentiates it from American cotton with a yellowy tint.

Since 1998, Azerbaijan has adopted new standards for cotton fiber approved by Liverpool Cotton Association, in which “MKT IK” LLC has associate membership status since 2003.

Currently, the company is engaged in development of textile industry in Azerbaijan.
Baku Cotton Yarn factory equipped with modern technology of RIETER, production capacity 7000 tons of cotton yarn per year. Also, the company has a long experience of producing cotton yarn in the “Ganja Pambig Ayirici” factory in Ganja, which has a capacity to produce 3000 tons of cotton yarn per year.
The cotton yarn production uses “open end” technology and has highly demanded by domestic and CIS country markets.

In 2006, “MKT IC” LLC completed a new oil and fat production facility in SHIRVAN, equipped with latest technology for oil processing and refinery.
This factory produces various items from cotton seeds, such as cotton oil and cotton milled cake, soapstock. In addition, this factory has linter and refined oil production lines.

• Cotton fiber
• Wastes of cotton fiber, such as gin motes, lint and cotton down.
• Cotton yarn of different sizes -“open end”
• Cotton oil
• Cotton milled cake – very valuable non GMO feed mill raw material.
